The show delves into the dangers of social networking and how people portray themselves online.

It also explores themes such as doxing, catfishing and the ways dangerous & uncontrolled impulses are fueled in the age of social media and reveals the ever-widening fractures between virtual and real-life personas.

Doxing is the act of revealing someone’s sensitive information online. Hackers use doxing to harass, threaten, or get revenge on others.

Catfishing is when someone sets up a fake online profile to trick people who are looking for love, usually to get money out of them

Don’t F**k With Cats — Documentary

Don’t F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer,” is a Netflix Documentary

The 3 part horrifying yet so thrilling documentary is about a group of Facebook “sleuths” attempting to track down a Montreal native arrested for the killing and dismembering of Jun Lin in 2012.

The series begins in a really dark part of the internet: where a video of a young man who has two small kittens, kills them on camera and the video begins to circulate.

The documentary depicts in detail the part society plays in what serial killers are looking for — fame, notoriety, and infamy

Don’t F**k with Cats explores how the internet can both reveal and disguise who we really are, as well as how it’s a tool for magnifying and spreading vile actions and thoughts.

The Social Network — Drama Film

The Social Network is a 2010 American biographical drama film.

The film is adapted from Ben Mezrich’s 2009 book The Accidental Billionaires, and it portrays the founding of the Social networking website Facebook and the resulting lawsuits.

If you are curious about how Facebook (Metaverse), now one of the biggest, if not THE BIGGEST Social Media Platform came about, this is a definite must-watch.

The Tinder Swindler — Documentary

Tinder Swindler is a Netflix Documentary that looks into the Ponzi Scheme by Scammer Shimon Hayut aka Simon Leviev.

Simon, who during his reign of terror would con hordes of women more than US$10 million, pretended to be the child of Lev Leviev, an Israeli billionaire involved in the diamond industry.

Among other themes, the Tinder Swindler covers Catfishing. It also looks at how Social Media seems to be draining the intelligence of its users and making them slaves of chasing the fast life.
